Parking for longer stays

Parking is on street in Zone 3L and is free overnight from 5pm until 9am the following morning. This can work particularly well for contractors who leave for work before 9am and return after 5pm. If you need to leave your vehicle parked during the day, longer-stay guests can purchase parking permits from us when required. A charge applies, but we will try to keep this as low as possible.

A convenient base in Scarborough

Carlton House Guesthouse is on Scarborough's South Cliff, a quieter part of town but still close to the things you're likely to need during a longer stay. Shops, cafés, restaurants, a pharmacy, a dry cleaner, a hairdresser, a barber, and other everyday services are within walking distance. Scarborough town centre and public transport links are also easy to reach. If you're working at Scarborough Spa, around South Bay or at one of the nearby venues, the location is particularly handy. And when work is finished, the Esplanade, Italian Gardens and coast are all close by too.

That's why we prefer to speak to people about longer stays rather than asking you to fit everything into a standard online booking system. Tell us when you need to arrive, roughly how long you expect to stay and anything else we should know. We can then see which room would work best and talk through the options with you. Long-stay rates will depend on your dates, length of stay, room and what you need.
